

Sourdough garden pizza
Ingredients
For Pizza Dough:

1 cup of sourdough starter

2 cups all purpose flour

½ cup of water (might need a few tablespoons more)

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Olive oil
-
Cornmeal
Toppings
-
1 jar of pizza sauce (NOTE: We used HEB Organic Pizza Sauce)

Vegetables of your choice (NOTE: we used bell peppers, onions, black olives, and tomatoes)

Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions

Combine the sourdough starter, flour, water, salt, and garlic powder.

Kneed the dough for 2-3 minutes or place it in a mixer with a bread hook until combined

Once combined, form the dough into a ball, and over with olive oil. Place it in a glass or metal bowl. Cover bowl with a towel and let it sit for 2-4 hours.

Flour a flat surface and roll out the pizza dough into a circular shape. (NOTE: mine was definitely not perfect)

Sprinkle some cornmeal on your pizza stone or cast iron skillet (NOTE: This helps prevent sticking)

Add pizza sauces, cheese, and toppings

Once oven is at 425F bake for 10-14 minutes
